Winding Road representing the trauma and Christian therapy journey

How My Passion Developed

Through my own journey with crippling anxiety, fear of failure, and spiritual struggles, I realized the importance of non-judgmental therapists, spiritual directors, and friends. Their support helped me transform experiences of fear and spiritual crisis into empowerment and authentic faith. My journey also increased my insight to support others experiencing similar struggles in their mental health or faith.

I know from personal experience how scary it is to navigate questions about your faith or deal with trauma, but I also know it’s worth it. Bringing your questions and wounds into the light of a safe space can reward you with a more authentic spiritual life and a greater sense of wellbeing and peace.

How I Help Others

My greatest priority is providing a safe space for you to feel understood and seen.

With the compassion I find in my faith, I support you on your healing journey, while respecting your self-determination. I normalize that questioning your faith is a normal and healthy part of spiritual development. I educate that anxiety, depression and “stuckness” are not signs of personal weakness, but make sense in light of your story.

Additionally,  I utilize a variety of evidenced- based treatment modalities to address your concerns in a personalized way. My goal is to help you find healing through a more adaptive and empowering narrative than the one that has you stuck. Many of my clients walk away from therapy with confidence, clarity, and a sense of security in their relationship with God.

I provide therapy online to clients in Georgia and Tennessee and in-person in Nashville. Request a free consult here to learn more. Look forward to hearing from you!
